In October 2020, we celebrated our first-ever virtual Walk Across America Challenge. More than 40 teams across Frederick County joined us to see who could take the most steps by the end of the month. We were thrilled to see so many people prioritizing their health and well-being.

All participating teams benefitted by:

  • Increasing emotional and physical well-being
  • Working toward a fitness goal together
  • Staying connected and reducing social isolation with remote team members
  • Navigating the ongoing pandemic and its stressors–with exercise! It was a great way to boost your mind, sharpen your focus, reduce stress, and improve sleep.
