Participants spent six weeks rethinking their drinks and learning how to hydrate healthily. In the end, more than 262,000 ounces of water were consumed! You can see the full results here.

What are sugar-sweetened beverages?

Sugar-sweetened beverages are drinks that have various forms of added sugars like corn syrup, dextrose, fructose, glucose, molasses, and more. They’re everywhere—sodas, sports drinks, energy drinks, juices, sweetened teas, and some coffee drinks. While you may not think twice about having a soda with dinner, it could have nearly 10 teaspoons of added sugar.
